The MG3 Shredder is a Commando's tier 5 weapon. This machine gun comes with two firemodes: the regular automatic fire mode and an alt-fire that fires shredder rounds - bullets that split into a wide fan formation from the barrel at a lower rate of fire.

The MG3 Shredder is a DLC weapon. In offline solo play this weapon is only available for players purchased it from the in-game store or owners of Armory Season Pass 2, however should the player owning this weapon join the public server it is become available to everyone as a shared content.

Technical Information

Damage and Rate Of Fire:

• Damage (primary / alt-fire, per bullet) = 35 / 15 x 5.
• Damage type = Ballistic (Assault Rifle).
• Fire interval, seconds (primary / alt-fire) = 0.066 / 0.132.
• Rate of fire, per minute (primary / alt-fire) = 909 RPM / 454 RPM.
• Consumes 3 units of ammo for 1 alt-fire shot. Fires a line of 5 bullets.

This weapon is a hitscan outside of the ZED Time. Projectile speed in ZED Time = 225 m/s.
Spread factor = 0.0085 (primary).
For an alt-fire shot spawns a horizontal line of 5 bullets. One of the bullets goes to the screen center, the others deviate left and right within equal intervals. Maximum of 30 degrees to the left and right.

Reload Time:

This weapon has 3 types of reload - half, when it has more than 13 bullets in the belt, half-empty, when it has 1-13 bullets left in the belt and dry, when it has no bullets left at all.

• Reload (elite, empty) = 3.73s, Reload (elite, half-empty) = 3.65s, Reload (elite, half)= 3.57s.
• Reload (empty) = 4.98s, Reload (half-empty) = 5.68s, Reload (half)= 4.97s.

Equip Time = 0.71.
Putdown Time = 0.73s.

Weapon Powers:

• Gun hit power (primary / alt-fire) = 50 / 50.
• Stumble power (primary / alt-fire) = 10 / 10.
