The HRG Medic Missile is one of the Field Medic's tier 4 weapons. It is an alternative version of the Demolitionist's RPG-7 launcher whose projectiles create a healing gas explosion on impact. Projectile of this weapon is a less powerful version of the RPG-7 rocket, doing less damage and applying less incap powers. The explosion is instaneous, applying damage and healing only once, leaving no healing or damaging clouds behind. However it is still capable of poisoning ZEDs via damage over time.

Technical Information

Damage:

  • Projectile impact = 100.
  • Bash = 27.

Explosion:

  • Damage = 400.
  • Backblast damage = 150.
  • Radius = 3 meters.
  • Backblast radius = 3.5 meters.
  • Falloff (rocket / backblast) = 2 (exponential) / 1 (linear).
  • Damage Over Time (damage / interval / duration) = 100x0.2 / 6.5s / 0.5s.

Rocket applies DOT damage of 100 with scale of x0.2 = 20 dmg / tick.

Rate Of Fire:

  • Semi-auto only = 20 RPM.

Reload Time (dry only) = 0.4s + 2.56s:

Notes

  • Rocket explosion heals players for 50 HP (affected by Field Medic's and Survivalist's bonuses). Explosion does not leave any kind of lingering (long-lasting) clouds, healing or damaging.
  • Backblast explosion is directional. Angle, degrees = 90.
  • Direct hit with the rocket does two types of the damage - ballistic (capable of damaging specific body parts, essentially it is a big slow bullet), then explosive (only does damage to body). Ballistic damage applied at all ranges, whether rocket exploded or not.
  • Rocket (distance to detonate) = 3.87s.
  • Rocket will collide with either - hitzone or a collision cylinder.

Trivia

  • Unlike regular RPG-7, rocket of the HRG Medic Missile does no additional damage to Scrakes.
  • Shares same traits for its backblast explosion as a regular RPG, including damage type meaning that backblast specifically is on-perk for Demolitionist.
  • None of the Demolitionist's skills affect this weapon except for the part of both lvl25 skills that make it explode at any range during the ZED Time.
