The FN FAL ACOG is one the Sharpshooter's tier 4 weapons. It is a fully- /semi-automatic assault rifle equipped with fixed ACOG scope, just like SCAR-H. However, unlike SCAR-H and other assault rifles, FN FAL ACOG does Rifle type of ballitic damage, hence has differet effectiveness against ZEDs. As a part of the multi-perk weapon system, it also belongs to the arsenal of Commando.

Notes
- Does Rifle type of ballistic damage, unlike other fully-automatic assault rifles that, rather, bearing Assault Rifle as their damage type.
- Amount of the recoil depends on the player's stance and movement. Crouching and aiming down the sights gives the lowest possible amount of the recoil.
Strategy
Gains all the perk bonuses from Commando thanks to multi-perk weapon system.
Hight amount of the recoil. Recomended to use in single-fire mode while staying stationary and crouching. In close range provides high Damage-Per-Second due to its rate of fire and per-bullet damage.
Has reduced rate of fire in semi-auto mode, this helps to conserve ammo. The ammo pool itself rather low so you might want to treat this weapon as Designated Marksman Rifle such as M14 rathen that Assault Rifle.
Compare to other assault rifles, FN FAL is more effective against Fleshpounds due to its Rifle type of ballistic damage.
Trivia
- Can deal up to 12600 damage with full ammo (180) capacity as off-perk weapon.
