Gear | |||
Technical Information
Damage 100 Rate Of Fire (per minute) 107 Damage Type Bludgeon Block (damage multiplier) x0.6 Parry (damage multiplier) x0.5
Gear is carryable item exclusive to Killing Floor 2's objective map Steam Fortress. At some point during the play players will be tasked to locate and bring few of these items to designated area of the map. While carrying the Gear players will suffer from the speed loss and will not be able to use any other weapons other than Gear itself. Switching to any other weapon will cause players to drop the Gear which can then be picked up again by pressing "USE" button.
Speed loss does not happen if there is only one player on the server or for the last player alive. Otherwise player's walking speed will be restricted to 203 units per second and sprint speed to 280 u/s (for comparison healthy player with empty inventory and no speed bonuses walks at speed of 383 and sprints at speed of 460 u/s).
Technically Gear is a melee weapon. However, it does not get any damage bonuses from player's passive abilities and perks with the exception to Survivalist in which hands Gear will be doing more damage via both - passive damage and Melee Expert skill. Attack speed of the Gear affected by skill choices of Survivalist AND Berserker.
There is no legit way to aquire the Gear outside of map objectives, however on PC players can use following cheat commands while playing solo:
- enablecheats
- giveweapon KFGameContent.KFCarryable_Gear
