The '''Dual 1858 Revolvers''' are the [[Gunslinger|Gunslinger's]] starting weapons. It is a pair of old-fashioned, black powder single-action revolvers. Unlike traditional revolvers, it is loaded by replacing a depleted drum with a new one.

Each revolver holds 6 bullets for a total of 12 shots. With a full supply of ammo, it can reload 12 times + its initial drums.

Each of the revolvers can sold or dropped [[1858_Revolver|separately]]. Compared to using only 1 revolver, dual wielding effectively doubles its fire rate, magazine, and reload time.

*Amount of the recoil depends on player stance and movement. Crouching and aiming down the sights gives the lowest possible amount of the recoil.

*The Gunslinger's level 15 skill ''Speedloader'' drastically decreases reload time, making it a nearly essential choice when starting out.
==Strategy==
A very skill-based weapon that's very difficult to use as a low-level Gunslinger. Its high rate of fire, decent damage, and low capacity will mean that firing in bursts will result in very dead ZEDs and two empty guns.

Its reload is cripplingly slow without being in ZED time or using ''Speedloader'', but because its reload times of both tactical and dry reloads are identical, firing all of your bullets and having to dry reload won't be as slow as other guns.

While they are decent guns to use, the 1858 Revolvers should be replaced with the [[M1911 Pistol]] or [[.50 Desert Eagle]] as soon as possible, even if solo wielded.

== Trivia ==
* The reason why the 1858 Revolver is loaded by replacing its drum is because it is a black powder gun: each individual chamber must be filled with gunpowder and loaded with a bullet in order to reload.
