New Map and one Objective Map

Prepare for the tricks and treats in this year’s ghastly Grim Treatment update! Wander inside the Ashwood Asylum and witness the haunting halls filled with countless, creepy creatures ready to hunt you down. Return to Nuked to save Kevin Jr. with the help of Dr. Ogada Buyu. Thankfully, the Horzine Research Group has refurbished a selection of weapons to deal with the oncoming challenges. Along the way, you may find some spooky accessories to customize your looks for the grisly Grim Treatment event! See you on the frightful floor!

Sometimes it is best to keep things locked up...

Ashwood Asylum:

- Compatible with Survival, Weekly, Versus Survival, and Endless Game Modes.

- Dispatch Zeds while witnessing the horrors of the terrifying Ashwood Asylum!

Objective Map - Nuked:

- Mercenaries assist Dr. Ogada Buyu in an attempt to rescue a young boy named Kevin Jr. from the remains of the destroyed city.

Who You Gonna Call...?

Things That Go "Bump" In The Night!

HRG Healthrower for the Field Medic: An alteration of the Freezethrower that fires a stream of chemical gas that heals players and poisons Zeds. Alt-fire fires a medic dart for quick, long-range heals. Somebody at Horzine asked the question “What if we modified the standard Freezethrower, but you know, made it for medics?”. The Healthrower is the answer the HRG group came up with. This beaut is fed off a gas version of the standard Horzine healing fluid pushed out a tube at high velocity towards whatever you want to heal (or poison)! Also included: standard medic darts for those pesky friends who don’t stay close enough to be healed! Trader price is 1000 Dosh.

HRG Nailgun for the SWAT: An alteration of the Vlad-1000 Nailgun that fires nails at two different rates depending on the fire mode set. Both fire modes are automatic to allow for a string of penetrating nails. This contraption really nails the innovation that somebody was searching for. Just not sure who, or if they survived! Featuring dual fire modes, fast-firing bouncy nails, and triple the fast-firing bouncy nails, letting loose three downrange with every shot, something is going to have a bad day. Trader price is 1100 Dosh.

HRG Buckshots for the Support: An alteration of the .500 Magnum Revolvers that fires buckshot shells. Quickly give yourself some personal space by unleashing these akimbo, or at least stumble the problem away as you “tactically advance backward”. Don’t worry, we aren’t asking any questions as long as you get the job done. Trader price is 550 Dosh for single and 1100 Dosh for duals.

Rhinos for the Gunslinger: This is a paid DLC weapon. This weapon can be shared amongst players through our weapon sharing system. A set of scoped revolvers that fire fragmentation rounds. These rounds burst into shrapnel pieces whenever they strike a Zed or the environment. Trader price is 550 Dosh for single and 1100 Dosh for duals.

Ion Thruster for the Berserker: This is a paid DLC weapon. This weapon can be shared amongst players through our weapon sharing system. A mechanical sword that absorbs and stores heat generated by kinetic energy and friction. Each attack scorches Zeds, and the stored energy can be released upon reaching 100% for a massive, fiery slash! Trader price is 2000 Dosh.

  • New Steam Achievements:
    • Ashwood Asylum and its collectibles.
    • Nuked Objective game mode completion.
  • Time-limited Halloween Objectives, Tickets, and Cosmetics.
  • Ashwood Asylum and Nuked Halloween seasonal objectives to earn the Kriss | Beyond Horizon | Space Elite weapon skin.
  • Halloween Event Tickets.
  • Halloween Cosmetics.

Welcome To The Island!

Lockheart here and I’ve got some news. First the good, we’ve reached my fortress lair, Eden, at Cape Corvo. Now the bad, it seems we haven’t seen the last of those incorrigible stowaways and piratical creatures. Chop chop, we have work to do, and by we, I mean you.

You lot are going places, and I don’t just mean on errands around this place. To get your mode of transportation up and running, however, I’ll be giving you a set of tasks to complete, stat!

I’ll be sending my drone, Rover, into the field to help. Do make sure to stay close as these dastardly creatures will impede his progress, or worse, destroy him.

And while Rover isn’t around I’ll be needing you to collect some things and transport them to where they need to be. Did you expect Rover would be around to help you with everything? He costs more to run than I pay you! And while you're at it, I believe I left a flatbread in the oven. Be a dear and bring it to me, mmmm Scrake ‘ems, never goes bad. How can it, it starts that way!

Your New Friends!

Have you ever wanted to smack around your fellow mercs to make them all better (and perhaps to make your own experience a tad more cathartic)? For the overworked and underpaid Medics out there, we introduce the Hemoclobber. This beauty is a medical melee weapon that combines the technology of the medical syringe with the fun of beating things to a pulp. It heals players and poisons Zeds on Light Attacks. The Heavy Attack uses ammunition for an extra punch. If you strike a Zed or player with it, it will cause an explosion of medical gas that damages all Zeds in the explosion radius while healing players nearby. We feel confident that both Medics and Berserkers will find this multi use Tier 3 weapon a bargain at 1100 Dosh.

The Seal Squeal is an explosive semi-automatic harpoon launcher that fires explosive laden harpoons. Each one of these lovely rounds are wrapped with a timed explosive that can pin zeds to another surface. Think of it as gore-geous wall art! They attach themselves to anything you may want to go boom. This baby has two detonation modes to let you control exactly when the explosions happen. The default mode self detonates after 4 seconds. If that's not your style and you prefer to play with your prey, the alt-fire let's you control the explosion much like C-4. We know what mercs are wondering next. All this for the low, low price of 1100 Dosh as a Tier 3 weapon at a trader pod near you.

The Return of Objective Mode

Starting with the upcoming Steam Fortress map, this is a mode where players will need to “get a move on”, as those objectives won’t complete themselves, and the Zeds will keep coming! New to the objective types players will experience in these maps are a refined and updated “escort” and the brand new “transport” objective, which will require players to collect and move mission critical items to where they need to be. The full objective type list now includes:

  • Exterminate
  • Hold the Zone
  • Operate and Control
  • Weld and Repair
  • Escort
  • Transport

Joining Steam Fortress are two classic Killing Floor 2 maps updated for Objective mode: Introducing the objective versions of Outpost and Zed Landing. Someone new, Dr. Ogada Buyu, has asked for your help in discovering some of Horzine’s darkest secrets... and perhaps some of her own along the way, if you dare.

Promo Page http://twistedchristmas2018.killingfloor2.com/

'Tis The Season... For Season's Beatings!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... in Hell! Oh no, it looks as though those mischevious Zeds have invaded Santa's Workshop. There's certainly no question as to whether they have been 'naughty' or 'nice' this year!

Luckily, our heroes are here to save the (Christmas) day from complete disaster! And as you may have heard, they have much-needed assistance from a new addition - none other than Santa himself! Only, this isn't any ordinary Mr. Klaus, because he has been working out (and putting aside those milk and cookies) in order to get his workshop running again. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you none other than Badass Santa! You can catch a glimpse of this (not so jolly) fellow later on...

Badass Santa is a purchasable playable character voiced by legendary actor Gary Busey. Busey also lends his voice to the Trader in the Santa's Workshop Map – and this “gift of Gary” will be free for all players throughout this Christmas themed event.

As a special holiday treat, we are also introducing the fan favorite community map Shopping Spree for the duration of the Twisted Christmas: Season’s Beatings update. Experience the true horrors of consumerism as players slay Zeds throughout a nightmarish and mangled shopping mall. Below are the achievement awards for the Shopping Spree map:

In addition to the Shopping Spree map, players will be introduced to Santa's Workshop. Beat back waves of zeds in this brand-new objective survival map. Compatible with Weekly, Survival, and Endless modes. Here are the achievement awards for the Santa's Workshop map:

Ho Ho Ho... Hell!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring... except for some Zeds of course! Deck the halls with blood and monsters. This year’s winter update marks the return of zesty Christmas-themed Zeds. So, mark your (advent) calendar and make a date to go (Christmas) shopping for your favorite monsters!

STOCKing Fillers

A Killer Crossover

Killing Floor 2 players will gain access to the Road Redeemer, a chained bat and favored melee weapon of road warriors in Road Redemption. The Road Redeemer is a Tier 2 melee weapon that can be found under the Berserker Perk. Console players can also take advantage of the upcoming Road Redemption/Killing Floor 2 crossover later this year with an upcoming update!

In turn, Road Redemption players on Steam can now experience an exciting crossover with Killing Floor 2! Players who own both games will receive access to two new playable characters in Road Redemption from Killing Floor 2: Hans Volter and DJ Skully.

Badder Than Ever

The Killing Floor 2 - Twisted Christmas: Season's Beatings update promises to end the year with a bang, with the new playable Badass Santa purchasable character voiced by Gary Busey himself! As mentioned before, this isn't your average St. Nick, as you can probably see...

No Duplicate System For Crates And Ticket Drops

The system now records items granted from a crate, USB, or ticket. While the same rarity drop percentages apply, it will be guaranteed to grant one of each cosmetic (ware-variants included) until you have the full item set. Once you have obtained all the items from a crate, USB, or ticket, it will clear the records of that item set and begin recording anew.

New DLC Bundles

The Christmas sales will be starting early this Holiday Season! All new miscellaneous bundles will be for sale in-game on Steam, plus the Playstation Store and Xbox Marketplace. Just remember - the more you buy, the more you save.

Welcome piggies! It is I, Hans Volter, genius, inventor, dance commander, inviting you to the Halloween housewarming party for my newly reclaimed ancestral castle in Transylvania! It will be, how the kids say, sick! I’ve got all manner of beasts, monsters, and madmen on the invite list, but having some mercs for dinner would make it the perfect little soiree.

Do not worry, Monster Ball is far more than just some dark and dank old castle. I have upgraded it with strobe lights, flamethrower traps, black lights, dance floors, swinging axes, a killer stereo system, spiked pits, and gothic decor throughout.

I’m sure you won’t survive long, but while you are alive, there are a new selection of achievements for Monster Ball as well. Nothing like feeling useful as you are cooked alive by my flamethrowers.

Along with my new home I’ve created a whole new collection of ZEDs to serve me. I really played into the whole classic monster thing, but owning this castle comes with the title of Count, so I think it’s on point. Wereslashers, fishpounds, and blob bloats are just dying to kill you.

But what would a party be without presents! We’ve got the latest in HM-Tech medical weaponry with the HM-501 Grenade Rifle, an assault rifle with attached medic grenade launcher that is sure to bring all the mercs to the yard. There’s also the FN FAL ACOG assault rifle! You got Sharpshooter in my Commando! Or did you get Commando in my Sharpshooter! Who cares? It is good for killing!

Recently I went on an extended motorcycle tour chasing DJ Scully with all manner of tools of violence. Of them all, I liked the Road Redeemer so much I brought it home! Nothing adds charm to a baseball bat like some spikes and chains, and nothing adds to the beauty of a country bike ride like some bashed in skulls.

For those of you wiley enough to complete the new objectives for my Monster Ball, I may give you one of the MKBs from the castle armory. Now you can be the old man… or woman, I don’t judge, with the old gun.

If you’re feeling plucky, with this update you can advance to Prestige 2, earning more Vault Dosh and prestige weapon skins! But I know you’re not that tough, little piggies. Play it safe, then die horribly for me.

We’ve got all manner of limited time cosmetics as party favors, assuming you ever leave! What sort of party would it be without favors and games? I may be a monstrous killing machine who murders the innocent and makes horrible monsters, but I am not a bad host.

Players with both Killing Floor 2 and Road Redemption in their Steam library can also look forward to an exclusive in-game crossover! Killing Floor 2 players can wield the Road Redeemer. Wrapped in barbed wire and best suited for the Berserker class, the Road Redeemer bat is a favored weapon of the road warriors. Road Redemption players on Steam can also expect two new riders from the Killing Floor 2 universe to join the fray: Hans Volter and DJ Skully. This exciting crossover will also be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players when Road Redemption launches for console systems later this year!

Welcome Aboard

Step right up ladies and gentlemen! See the wonder of the age, the airship H.M.S. Queen Victoria! I, Ringmaster Lockheart —captain, owner, genius— welcome you to my home away from home! But it seems you’re not the only ones that have found their way on board, and those other blokes did not buy tickets! The steampunk circus has come to the skies lads; time to show them what a real barney is.

Soar To New Heights

Prestige your perks and get rewards

Feeling you’ve reached the highest highs, that there are no more worlds to conquer? Bollocks! Not anymore!Introducing the Prestige system, where you can unlock unique icons, weapon skins, and Vault Dosh rewardsby resetting your level! You’ll also get an experience point bonus to speed you along on your quest for greatness!

Not only will you be improving yourself, but now your weapons can improve too! Enjoy that HX25 Grenade Pistol more than is healthy? Want to show the Patriarch your shiny Crovel, but afraid he won’t respect it? Now you canspend Dosh to upgrade these weapons to keep them competitive throughout the match.

Riding In Style

I wouldn’t expect you to clean those ne’er-do-wells from my ship without some suitable tools of violence. First up, the Static Strikers for when you feel like engaging in fisticuffs… but I do think they break the Marquess of Queensberry Rules.  Then we’ve got the Doomstick; like a Boomstick, only twice as much!  Horzine added the M99 AMR Sniper Rifle to the menu. I didn’t build it, so beware! Lastly we’ve got a new knife for the Survivalist, the Gore Shiv… that just looks unhygienic!
New Weapons!

Make New Friends

Summer Sireshow E.D.A.R

My wonderful airship was commissioned with an army of clockwork automatons to defend it, but now they’ve gone starkers and have joined with the angry clowns assaulting my ship! CRETINOUS TRAITORS! They come in three versions: Blasters that blast you, Bombers that blow you up, and Trappers that...well, trap you.  A little on the nose, I’ll grant.  And don’t think taking their head off will stop them.

I hear that Horzine stole some of my work and is putting their own automatons in the field, only with computers and such instead of good old reliable gears and steam. Once we get to safety I am suing them for copyright infringement!  Be careful, you never know where those murderous robots will pop up.

Marvelous Sights

Lockdown

My airship can’t reach it, but Horzine has a new space station, which was overrun by Zeds in record time!  Word is Horzine is looking for some brave souls to take it back; good luck with that! You’d think they’d stop building these remote science facilities, they just seem like Zed magnets.

Airship

Oh my beauty, my wonder, my flying angel, the Queen Victoria! Now that we’ve escaped Steamland, we need to get to my island in the Channel, but these rubes in the carnival getup are trying to stop us!  I’ll need you to complete some objectives for me, like Weld and Repair or Operate and Control, if we’re going to make it there without going for a swim.

Dive Into Endless Mode

It seems the Patriarch has been browsing some of our community’s forums and saw how much our fans wanted an Endless Mode for Killing Floor 2 because he went and built one. We decided to roll with it rather than argue with the large tentacle monster with a chain gun and have built the next update around the Patriarch’s… helpful efforts. Welcome to Infinite Onslaught, where the killing never stops!

The Return Of D.A.R.

Back from the recycling yard, Horzine has returned an experimental D.A.R. unit to the field to measure its potential as next year’s hot military hardware. You can unlock D.A.R. and his various skins by beating waves 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 in Endless Mode. Horzine not responsible for any D.A.R. units having homicidal tendencies towards humans.

New ZED: Rioter

Did the elite clot get cold? Find a deal on scrap metal? Just want to update his look? Whatever the cause, the elite clot has now been upgraded to the rioter, complete with armor plating that must be destroyed before the rioter can be injured in those areas. But underneath that rusted metal coat, he’s the same rallying alpha clot we all know and love.

New Maps & Achievements

Two new maps are added with the Infinite Onslaught update, each with their own achievements and collectible items. The DieSector map is used for the new Endless Mode and is a Horzine testing facility co-opted by the Patriarch to run his own tests on the mercs. He’s added all manner of traps, from flamethrowers to shock prods, to make it extra exciting. Its achievements require reaching wave twenty-five for each difficulty in Endless Mode.

Powercore is a Holdout map within an abandoned Horzine manufacturing facility. Does Horzine abandoning anything ever go well?

But it’s not just new maps getting the love; we’ve taken the Stand Your Ground objective from the Krampus Lair map and now added it as an option to all existing official maps! Defend territory with your friends! Earn Extra Dosh, Vault Dosh, and XP! Die horribly when you realize too late your body is not a good way to block Zeds!

New Weapons

This update’s new weapons bring you fire, lots of bullets, and lots of bullets on fire! The Husk Cannon, AF2011-A1 Pistol, and MAC 10 SMG have all been added to the Horzine armory.

Limited Time Unlocks

We’ve added new Vault items, as well as Cyberpunk and sci-fi items and skins that are exclusive to this event that can be gained through prize tickets. See the Zed-Conomy page for more information chummer!

Thrashing Through The Gorge!

The weather outside is frightful, but that’s nothing compared to what’s inside! Krampus, beast king of the dark side of Christmas, has taken Santa’s Elves captive, stolen the Naughty List, and claimed Christmas for himself! Santa needs an elite strike team to infiltrate the Krampus Lair and shut down his operation for good. Time to deck the halls with… well, let’s just say the holly berries aren’t the only red decorations this year. And that’s not tinsel.

To Krampus Lair We Go

Not only does Krampus have Santa’s elves that he has twisted to his cause, there is a veritable army of minions at his disposal. All those holiday creatures left out of Santa’s perfect Christmas utopia have rallied under Krampus’s flag, from the Snowmen who refuse to melt to the Ghosts of Christmas Futures that will never be. They are ready to meet any attack against their master with holiday cheer… and murder.

But the final test of your holiday cheer will be against Krampus himself, a new boss with rather interesting series of attacks; what goes in one end comes out the other.

Slaying All The Way!

To help with this attack on the Krampus Lair, Horzine has added two new weapons to their armory: the UMP SMG for SWATs and the Freezethrower for Survivalists. Remember, add bullets and cryo-freeze ammunition packs to your wish list for Santa.

Gift Awaits Within * limited time only

Pajama Outfit

What would the holidays be without Pajama Outfits? Cold, that’s what.
Find new cosmetic items in Krampus Lair, or complete the Krampus Lair objectives to earn the Pajamas Outfit. Nothing like fighting rogue elves in your PJs with a holiday ham strapped to your head.

New Game Mode: Holdout

There’s few things more dangerous than a cornered animal… except perhaps a cornered survivor with a lot of high explosives. In the new game mode Holdout, everyone is cornered all the time. In Holdout, players play through a different small map for each wave, each with limited room to maneuver or retreat, forcing players to stand their ground against the Zed onslaught. Can you stand shoulder to shoulder with your allies in the face of overwhelming numbers, or will you break and run, leaving your team to die messily?

New Weapons

With this update we bring back a classic and introduce a long-requested new weapon!

First, we have the Spitfire pistol, a retooled flare gun from Killing Floor 1 that is great for lighting Zeds on fire with precision. Available alone or in pairs, the Spitfire pistol is a tier 2 Firebug weapon, but also a cross-perk weapon for Gunslingers and Sharpshooters. The Spitfire pistol gives the Firebug more precise spike damage at the expense of a smaller area of effect than the existing Firebug weapons.

Second, we have the long-requested light machinegun in the form of the Stoner 63A. With high ammo capacity, a high rate of fire, and limited accuracy, the Stoner 63A is a tier 4 Commando weapon without peer when it comes to hosing down large groups of Zeds with chunks of fast moving lead. And we could make a joke about the name, but we wouldn’t stoop that low… at least not yet.

New Maps & Achievements

The Descent
Our first Holdout map, the Descent is a series of underground chambers beneath Volter Manor. Each wave takes place in one of ten different rooms, and the rooms are in a random order after the first, so each time you play you get different experience. These rooms represent the more secure facilities used by Hans in his experiments and need to be cleaned out to put a stop to his terrible work.
Nuked
Our new Community map, Nuked, is the burnt and broken remains of a city that has a Zed problem on top of an incoming nuclear attack. Don’t stare directly at the nuclear flash and remember to duck and cover!

Descent Comic

Von Strasser has a score to settle with Hans, and DJ Scully… he just likes lighting things on fire. Don’t judge. While exploring Volter Manor and testing new weapons for Horzine they find the entrance to The Descent and end up in far more trouble than they bargained for.

Can Van Strasser get his revenge? Can DJ Scully resist making jokes about the Stoner 63A name? I think we all know the answer to the second question.

Introducing: Multiperk

Ever wonder “Hey, I’m a Commando who is awesome with assault rifles. Why am I not awesome with the HMTech-401 Medic Assault Rifle? It’s an assault rifle, isn’t it? It’s right there in the name!” Well, now you are! With the new Multiperk system, many weapons are considered perk weapons for more than one perk, allowing increased flexibility when it comes to choosing your armaments.

Use an Dragonsbreath or VLAD-1000 Nail Gun as a Support, an M16 M203 as a Commando, or a HMTech-201 Submachinegun as a SWAT, and receive all the benefits of using a perk weapon.

New Weapon: Bone Crusher

Perfect for those times you feel like going medieval on a Zed, the Bone Crusher lets you get your inner barbarian on with face-breaking shield bashes and skull-splitting mace strikes. A tier 4 Berserker weapon, the Bone Crusher lets you cleave a path through hordes of Zeds with ease while making your parries even more effective at blocking damage.

Nothing like a hubcap, a baseball bat, and a boatload of desperate ingenuity to create the latest in close combat anti-Zed weaponry!

New Zed: Gorefiend

What’s better than one gigantic rusty blade bolted to a Zed’s forearm? TWO gigantic rusty blades bolted to each of a Zed’s forearms! The gorefiend is everything you love to hate about the gorefast, only more of it. And a tongue that is just wrong. The gorefiend is ready to ruin your day in a whirl of spinning blades and pain.

New Map & Achievements: Zed Landing

When the erupting volcano is the least of your worries, you know your tropical island vacation has gone awry. Welcome to Zed Landing! Thanks to a crashed Horzine cargo plane, this island has become infested with Zeds, all of whom want to eat you before the volcano cooks you. Or after really, they’re not that picky; Zeds are into barbecue.

Along with the new map comes a selection of new achievements to prove you faced the volcano and lived to tell the tale.

Zed Landing Comic

Horzine has been known to save some Dosh by shipping its mercenaries aboard the cargo planes of its ZedEx subsidiary, but on this trip across the South Pacific there's more than cramped seating and a lack of in-flight entertainment making life difficult for Mr. Foster and Donovan Neal.

In collaboration with Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive, the deluxe content of KILLING FLOOR 2 is included in the PC, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®4 Pro retail and digital versions for $39.99 (US) /£29.99 (UK) /€39.99 (EU).

In KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union— Just one month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding.

Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Visceral Gore - KILLING FLOOR 2 ramps up the gore with a proprietary, high powered persistent blood system bringing new levels of fidelity to the genre. Players will send entrails, severed limbs, and blood flying as they wade through hordes of enemies. But they need to watch out! If caught, enemies will rip them, and their entire party limb from limb
  • 6 player co-op or solo play - A multitude of varied playable characters await for players to choose from as they enter the fray in online co-op mode or solo mode for those willing to brave the horrific specimens alone
  • Versus Survival Game Mode - Be the Zed! A 12 player PvP mode where two teams take turns playing Humans vs. Zeds in a pair of short matches. In the first match, one team plays Humans and the other Zeds until the humans all die during a single round or they beat the boss. For the second match the teams switch sides and when the battle is completed both teams receive a score based on their performance and the higher score wins!
  • Terrifying Zeds - New enemies and fan favorites from the original game are back with expanded and smarter artificial intelligence, dishing out powerful attacks, working as a group to weaken the player’s party and pushing the challenge level and fear factor to new levels
  • Unique Blend Of Weaponry - From modern militaristic assault rifles, brutal improvised makeshift weapons, classic historical guns, and off the wall “Mad Scientist” weapons, KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique blend of killing tools that will satisfy any gamer
  • Expanded Perk System - Perks from the original game have been reimagined with more added to the fold. All perks now progress with meaningful talent choices that amplify different play styles, giving players a progression path that is expansive and full of rewarding milestones
  • Brutal Melee Combat - KILLING FLOOR 2 reinvents melee combat completely. Players now have control over the type of melee attacks they can perform, enabling them to deliver bone-breaking crippling attacks to Zeds

KILLING FLOOR 2 is developed by Tripwire Interactive and is published by Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive for the PlayStation®4 Pro, PlayStation®4, and PC. This title has been rated M by the ESRB, PEGI 18, USK 18.

S.W.A.T. Perk
Get ready to breach and clear with the new SWAT perk! Armed with flashbang grenades and a variety of submachineguns, the SWAT perk is ready to keep the Zeds pinned down with a storm of lead. SWAT perk skills allow you to either be an armor wearing juggernaut or a fast moving dealer of precision death, but in all cases the SWAT perk is in the thick of the action.
The SWAT perk’s weapons are fast firing submachineguns that can chew through Zeds like a woodchipper through…Zeds. The SWAT perk's grenade is a flashbang grenade that does limited damage but has a high chance of stunning Zeds caught in its blast.

Loyalty Reward Info & New Cardboard Knight
When fighting Zeds, the right protective outfit is vital to both your survival and looking stylish. Some days you get lucky and lay your hands on a badass looking suit of Horzine Security Armor, and other days you’re forced to make a suit of armor out of cardboard. Both are stylish…in their own ways.
The elite variants of the Horzine Security Armor and the Horzine 9mm pistol skins are loyalty rewards that are earned by everyone who plays in early access, though other versions will be available at a later date as part of a cosmetic bundle in the game store. The cardboard armor will be available for sale in a new cosmetic bundle in the game store.
For more information visit the ZED-conomy page!

New Map and Achievements
Go to hell! Literally! The new Infernal Realm level, which is a community map that has become an official map, takes survivors to a whole new level of Zed killing surrounded by bones, hanging corpses, brimstone, and hellfire. And the trader is totem made of bones. That can’t be a good sign.

Revised Resistances and Perks
Almost all the perks got tweaks to their skills or passive abilities in this update, but the Firebug, Support, and Medic got more in depth changes to make their skills more balanced. The goal is to make every skill choice more interesting. Zeds have also had their resistances revised, their movement and evasion tactics made more challenging, and their spawn groups adjusted, creating a much more intense experience on higher difficulty levels. And watch out for Hans. Really. He’s been at the gym or something.

Revised Perks & Zeds
Berserkers, Commandos, and Demolitionists have gotten some love to make their perk abilities more interesting, their skill choices more meaningful, and their interactions with Zeds more rewarding. In addition, the Zeds have seen their abilities revised as well to better counter, or be countered by, various perks.
VS Update Mark II
Now you get a Zed! And you get a Zed! Everyone gets a Zed! VS Matches now involve the two teams taking turns playing Humans and Zeds over the course of a pair of short matches. The player controlled Zeds in VS have also seen substantial adjustments to make the whole experience more fun.
New Characters & Hans Changes
Rae Higgins

An Australian who ended up on the wrong side of the world when everything hit the fan, Rae hasn’t taken the Zed outbreak quietly. Sporting her Rockabilly style and a surprisingly upbeat attitude, she’s ready to bust skulls.

Fancy Hands Hans

The good Dr. Volter has decided to allow those foolish enough to face him a bit more of a sporting chance. Now when injured, he will deploy a shield while looking for someone to drain to heal himself. If Dr. Volter’s shield is destroyed before he finds a victim, he won’t be able to heal and will be knocked down, so dog pile on the doctor and ruin his day.

We’ve all talked about this one for years – the ability for you not just to kill the Zeds, but the chance to BE the Zed – so here it is! In the all-new Versus Survival game mode, up to six players can be their normal, Zed-slaughtering selves, while up to six more can play as the Zeds. Work your way through multiple survival waves, all the way up to the Boss. Can the Human team make it through all the waves – or can the Zed team stop them before they get to the end? 6v6 PvP gameplay with every weapon, Zed and death!
Zeds vs Players
If you join the Zed team, you’ll get to be any of 11 playable Zeds. Start as one of the mindless horde and work your way up through the waves, to play as a Scrake, Fleshpound or even the Patriarch himself! And to make them all more interesting to be, more dangerous to fight – all of the Zeds will have special attacks and abilities when controlled by players. Extra leaps, jumps, speed… new attacks… plenty of ways to freak out the Human team!
New Weapons
With the Sharpshooter on his way, we thought we’d give you a couple of classic weapons that you’ve all been asking for: the Winchester lever-action rifle and the Crossbow. Cult classics for the Sharpshooter, with so many fond memories from earlier incarnations!
New Map and Achievements
In addition to the all new game mode and weapons, we are adding another new Tripwire map: Prison. Set in some dark corner of Russia, where the Zed outbreaks have already spread, we have a recently-abandoned prison, with its cells, shower-blocks and guard towers. Now who is in prison – the Zeds or the players? Complete with difficulty level map Achievements – plus the “Find the Soap” Achievement.
