Nuked is a Killing Floor 2 map. It is a community-made map that was added in the game as a part of The Descent update. Since the Grim Treatments update this map is also compatible with the Objective mode where players have to accomplish certain mandatory tasks in order to advance in the game.

Description

"Nuked is the burnt and broken remains of a city that has a Zed problem on top of an incoming nuclear attack.  Don’t stare directly at the nuclear flash and remember to duck and cover!"

Objective Mode

This map can be played in Objective mode. As the game begins, Kevin Jr., Patriarch's son, contacts Survivors telling them that he is somewhere in the Embassy and desperately needs help. Dr. Ogada Buyu then tasks players to locate and rescue the VIP as his DNA could contain vital information to help stop the Outbreak.

Gas outside: Damage to ZEDs = 10 points per 10s intervals (Bloats and Crawlers do not take damage), Damage to players (only) = 4 points per 2s intervals.

In a meantime, Dr. Ogada Buyu gets informed that massive nuclear strike is planned and asks players to hurry up. Alpha Clots replaced with Abomination Spawns. Activations required = 4. Initial delay before first activation can be performed = 25s. Each next activation takes 25s to recharge.

Ventilation systems are operational and gas is no longer a threat, however Buyu finds it suspicious that the gas was actually coming from the inside of the Embassy. The next task is to collect Datapads that contain vital information on Kevin Jr. biometrics. Devices scattered outside of the building and survivors move for it. Alpha Clots replaced with Abomination Spawns. 3 Datapads have to be collected and there are 6 possible spawn points for these. Initial delay before first datapad appears = 17s, each next = 5s. Once dropped, time until it resets back to random spawn point = 20s.

Buyu sends out drone to clear out the gas. Survivors are ordered to protect it from ZEDs. Alpha Clots replaced with Abomination Spawns.

EXTERMINATION
As it appears, Kevin Jr. was never here - it was a trap master minded by Dr. Hans Volter.Once the boss is defeated the cutscene shows players escaping in APC while the nuclear strike commence. Alpha Clots replaced with Abomination Spawns. Dr. Hans Volter has 100% chance to become end-game boss.

Trivia

  • The huge historical building named "Embassy Of The Nation Of Texas" located in the middle of the map hence most likely map takes place in either London or Paris.
  • Upon making it to 33% wave completion in normal Survival game the sirens can be heard and gigantic nuclear blast goes off in the map background. This however does not have impact on gameplay other than slightly obscuring player's vision.
