The Doshinegun is a tier 2 compact fully-automatic assault rifle available for every perk as an off-perk weapon. This weapon literally shoots Dosh stacks that behave like a blunt projectiles and leave a Dosh pickup on the ground. Doshinegun does not come with spare ammo reserves, instead it draws the ammo directly from the Dosh reserves at a ratio of 25 Dosh per round or 500 Dosh per full clip. Firing this weapon on teammates allows players to finance them at the same rate.

Despite having rather mediocre damage and rate of fire as well as limited range of its projectiles, the Doshinegun bearing impressive amount of the stun, stumble and gun hit powers. Very few skills work with this weapon (listed below) with Sharpshooter being able to make the most of it.

Doshinegun is a DLC weapon. In offline solo play this weapon is only available for players purchased it from the in-game store or owners of Armory Season Pass, however should the player owning this weapon join the public server it is become available to everyone as a shared content.

Upgrade 2 (700): Base damage x1.4 (77 per projectile), Base weight + 2 (6 total).

Upgrade 3 (1500): Base damage x1.6 (88 per projectile), Base weight + 3 (7 total).

Bonuses

The Doshinegun is notably affected by the following boosts:

  • Commando's passive damage andMachine Gunner.
  • Field Medic's Zedative (only the part where it can cause toxic explosion).
  • Gunslinger's Fan Fire.
  • Sharpshooter's passive headshot damage, Sniper, Rack 'Em Up (gets damage bonus for every stack, but does not trigger stacks on its own), Dead Eye, Assassin (damage and ZT chance) and Ranger (only ZT chance).
  • SWAT's Close Combat Training (100% more damage due to "Bludgeon" damage type which this skill works with).
  • Survivalist's passive damage, ZT reload, Spontaneous Zed-plosion, Madman and Lockdown.
