DieSector is a Killing Floor 2 map. It was added in the game as a part of Infinite Onslaught content pack. It is the first official map exclusive for Endless Mode. Map divided into the segments separated from each other by electric fences. As the game goes more of these segments become available for players to visit, however some of them might as well become locked for the entire wave forcing players rethinking their escape routes and always stay focused.

Promo Page Description

"The DieSector map is used for the new Endless Mode and is a Horzine testing facility co-opted by the Patriarch to run his own tests on the mercs. He’s added all manner of traps, from flamethrowers to shock prods, to make it extra exciting. Its achievements require reaching wave twenty-five for each difficulty in Endless Mode."

General Information

There is 3 fire / flamethrower traps on the map - one at the lower level and two near the map center at the upper floor.

Each trap costs 50 dosh to activate, lasts for 13.2 seconds and can be reactivated after 30 seconds. Trap does 40 points of "fire" damage within 1s intervals. It does not affect player, however, at the same time and place there appear another damage inflicting area that does 4 points of damage to both - players and ZEDs.

Environmental flame traps do 4 points of damage to both - players and ZEDs.

Barriers do 10 points of "EMP" damage within 2s intervals to both - players and ZEDs.

All 6 weapon and 10 ammo pickups are always active and do not shut down upon pickup, available from the start and have respawn time of 160 seconds for weapons and 90 seconds for ammo. Weapon pickups contain standard tier 1 (starting) set of guns.
